I really enjoyed this debut collection of short stories, which focus on the confusing and often harrowing world of childhood. With glimpses of adult relationships beyond a child's understanding, plus a mixture of sibling rivalries and jealous friendships, Orringer offers some fascinating insights. Engaging and memorable; worth reading and re-reading.
